Service outside not cover under warranty?

Thought warranty void only if not using Nissan genuine parts? Going for my 20K serving soon, thinking of servicing at autosaver, save about $130+.

CustomGolf:
Warranty still in force when you service your ride outside following the service schedule. The ony thing is that they will try to wiggle their way out of it. If you think about it, how can servicing affect your warranty. They can void your warranty on the engine if you modify it and if you don't use oil to the stated specifications or non nissan parts as they can claim that the parts damaged were casused by these non nissan parts. With that being said, think TC has one of the cheapest service package from agents.

Hi Guys, sorry to hijack this thread. I am planning to purchase a 2plus to 3 year old latio sport and I have read that there are some common problems such as gearbox(CVT), the steering coupling and aircon compressor. May I know if I can get an extended warranty from Tan Chong or are there workshops outside that can service the parts at a reasonable rate? Or would you guys suggest that I go for a 4AT model so that I would have one less headache(CVT)?

Cheers!

Ying:
First, do you want a CVT?
Not sure why you want it then better get the 4AT version.

Ride feeling, car interior and some functions is different for CVT and 4AT. take a look at both model before you decide.
