PAINT WORK

Of all the luck, a van parked beside my Latio last Friday. I am always very wary of parking besides van cos their door is higher up and when they open, tendency is to swing out hard and hit the front of the vehicle at the side. True enough saw some paint work got chipped off
. Noticed that the base material is exposed and if left untreated rust will slowly build up. Anyone can recommend how to touch it up to prevent rust? It is a small spot about couple of millimeter in diameter.
