go duplicate the key itself lor. You dun need the remote that much if you are the secondary user actually.

Either go back to Tan Chong or check on Soxxi (http://www.autokey.sg/). Will cost quite a bit to duplicate Latio's key..

i happen to make the same inquiry early this week...

from TC, intelligent key set (with manual key inside) can only be made at TC Lok Yang... costs around $285++, manual key (with microchip inside for immobiliser) alone costs around $185++, programming included.

from a Soxxi station located at Marine Parade food centre, intelligent key set (with manual key inside) costs $300, more expensive than TC so didn't bother to ask about manual key  :nonod:

was told if car has TC alarm, gotta get the whole i-key set coz alarm will go off if we use the key to start engin  :glare:

I saw a Nissan ikey at a Key and lock shop in jusco, JB. Asked how much for a latio key.. He said RM1600 !!

I just laugh and walk away.

I did exactly the same thing when he told me that...  :D

I thought if we want to duplicate the i-key from Nissan, they have to make a request to Nissan Japan to issues them don't know what (freq?), then they can do it? Am I wrong?
