Which Nissan department to complain?
« on: November 08, 2009, 04:50:25 PM »
Greetings bros,I just collected my latio and found many defects on the car ie. Roof lining dirty, front head lamp fogging. I sent it to Tan Chong and although they replaced the parts for my 2 day old car, I am still not happy coz supposing, it's manufactured in Japan and the QC there shld ve some standard.Disappointing. I ve to leave my car in the workshop for a day and really wasted my time.Which department shld I email to about my dis-satisfaction or anybody that I can email to? Tks bros.

i also have the same roof lining too. the rubber seems to have some white stains which not able to remove. I complained it to the workshop too. The technician told me that this is the stain which was caused by the waxing before handing the car over to the owner.

the technician helped to touch up the rubber... after awhile it still come back... i give up liao..

Bro nakshire is correct, now i enjoy the ride more
So long as there is no major scratches...

Since yours is a 2 day old car and to avoid causing yourself any inconvenience while your car is in the workshop, it is reasonable to request for  a courtesy car or at least a partial claim for transport (taxi) expenses.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the info.
I am collecting my Latio in a few days time. Also booked the 2008 one.
Will take note of these.
Hopefully, TC heard your complaint and buck up their service.

Hi, I collected my Latio on Saturday and the head light also fogging. And my reverse sensor also dead on Sunday.   :( Those collecting YOM2008, do take note.

Mine was purchased in 2008, but was YOM2007 stock. Effectively it hads been sitting in the warehouse for 1 yr before being delivered to me.

I suspect your fogging headlamp could be a batch problem, just as my batch had the steering shaft problem.

Pls check that Tan Chong gives you a bran dnew battery and not the orig one that comes with the car from Japan, which could die anytime as it sits redundant in the unused car for 1 yr.

Also check if your tyres have any flat spot.

How they solve your fogging and reverse sensor problem?
Mine was 2009 stock, collected yesterday, same problem.
The car was in/out a few times to touch up here and there.
Went home then relize reverse sensor and head light fogging.
SO those collecting car this few days, better go early, it took me more then 2 hours staying there.
BTW, if you have roof lining with stain, don't need to ask them to clean, they will drive out and back telling you cannot clean, so ask them to change during ur 1st servicing

They told me fogging is normal. Showed me a servicing manual from Nissan. If it is water drops size, then it is leakage. I accepted and observed for the last 2 days and no more fogging so far.
My reverse sensor, they changed a new one.
I went to the one at Ubi with my SE on Monday. It took me only half an hour.

Anyone facing the reverse sensor auto back to normal.
I was thinking to go today to check on the reverse sensor, but to my surprise, the reverse sensor was working yesterday and this morning, going to monitor for the next 1 or 2 days.

Do take extra care when reversing. I almost bang on a wall while reversing as I was too used to the sensor and never look behind.
