After 5 years and 2 months, my aircond suddenly not fuctioning when I was about to drive back to SG from Malaysia. It was ok the night before. I when to a workshop that was open on sunday for a check. They said the gas pressure was very low and the coil was leaking. Changing the coil need 2 days, cost ~RM1000 with 1 year warranty. I asked them to refill the gas (Rm50) so that I can drive back to SG before I decide to fix it. They insert a meter into the aircond vent and measure the gas leak after they refill the gas. I was told the leakage is slow and I might breath in the aircond gas slowly for quite some time. So I am looking for places to fix it soon.

i did mine at autoaid toh guan, i also considered going to tomika aircon as it seems they are the aircon specialist, but as autoaid nearer to my office, so went autoaid instead.
changing of the cooling coil takes 2-3 hours at most if the mechanic is familiar with latio, definitely dun need 2 days.

I just had my cooling coil replaced at autobay@kaki bukit, this shop sorely specialised in car air-conditioning... Best of all, boss is friendly & will give discount after u bargain with him.

Paid $380 for original coil + aircon filter + top up gas & compressor oil

Gd price & best of all job complete in 2-3 hrs, no dismantling of dashboard.
