--- Quote from: HumbleCar on May 13, 2008, 11:55:49 AM ---My experience is that the light will lit up before it reaches the E mark. After the light lit up, some bros have tried going for more than 100 km more. Myself tested 50 km after light up. Dare not push too far. Scarly caught in a bad traffic jam, then jilat liao.

Another 50km-100km? Hmm.. Means end up, when the light shine up, another 50km is no problem?? Feel risky thou

I think it is psychological. As mentioned, some bros tried beyond 100km. I tried about 50km. Better be safe than sorry. Image the trouble if your car is stopped in the middle of an expressway, not to mention that it will cause inconvenience to others too, especially if this happens during the peak hour.

That's exactly what I meant. :zipped: I shall try till it flash and carry on until 50km before I hit to petrol station. :D

I have tried to drive more than 120km after lights up (530km lights up, pump fuel at 653km).
It was not a good experience though, as I was stuck at PIE when my odo shown 630km, stuck for a good 20 minutes.
The fuel needle is just slightly below the "E". I top up the tank with 41L, meaning still have about 4L in the tank. So by calculation, I could go beyond 700km! :scared:
Nowadays, I pump in at around 600km, try to be safe than be sorry. :out:
