well, package A does state you need to pay for the brake pad replacement but is inclusive in NPMP. The SA told me this upfront, I dont like hiden cost so I sign up for NPMP. And you can start NPMP at any time, it stil follow two A one B one C service package + part cost(may be not all).

(click to view the brochure, it does state what are the parts included under renew and replace. You dont need to worry what will be the price of this and that spare part when you need to change them after n month. sadly battery not included.)

Just rechecked my records online again, saw my front brake pad was actually changed at 73K (1st time)  :scared: and 106K (2nd time)... me was with TC servicing since day 1, signed up NPMP fr 40K.. now find it strange that 1st time changed was done at 73K..

Btw, anybody know when supposed to change rear brakes? Heard b4 that the rear brakes can last much longer than front brakes, but usually when need to change?

clarence:
Due to the extended period that your brake pads have been in use prior to its 1st change, I recommend that you check your brake disc rotor to confirm that it is in safe working condition and is not scratched or warped.

For my 1st car corolla ( 4 disk brake ), SA told me the rear brake pads can last 3x compare with front pads, if you change front at 70k, likely will change rear at 210k.

Our latio use brake drum at rear, should be similar....
