I've tried both the fasflo and shogun EO before from TCM and both CMI IMHO... Doesn't do much for the FC... I'm now using Carlube EO from Giant... Cheap and quite good :bleh:

Hey shpesft

Thanks for your feedback. Sorry to probe a bit more, when you say CMI, do you mean in terms of FC, power or smoothness or everything?

Just curious, do you bring your Carlube EO to car workshop to ask them to put in for you?

Tks
Alan

My FC, power worsened when I changed to the Shogun EO. I paid for the NPMP from Nissan but brought my own EO to Nissan for them to change.

Do you mean change at every 5k even on synthetic oil?   If just change EO, how much is the labor? Isn't is a bit waste as EO not cheap and it can last for another 5 k?

If you intend to change engine oil every 5000km and use synthetic, you can choose cheap synthetic like Triple R which costs $28.90 for 5 litres.

It's a waste to use expensive synthetic like Mobil 1 costing $110 for 4 litres and change every 5000km.

I buy carlube 5w30, I go to my usual workshop, he charge me sgd15 each time almost the same price as JB.

Hi clarence

May be not to mention it's a waste to use fully syn EO and chg in every 5000km, may be we shld look into the other face of it, could it help to sayang our Engine in better shape & quality in longer run? Meaning, we will have better n smoother engine & thus better FC (helps to save some) also?

Regards.
sorry, i must agree because i don't know how to disagree. agreeeee only....

I think Jazz is asking if the $15 labour fee charged to change engine oil includes oil filter.
