Hi guys,

Every morning when start the engine there is a loud hissing sound after travelling for about 2 to 3 minutes the sound goes away. Is it because need to change the belt. milage now 60k

Bro, don wan to b rude here, but seems like u going around saying if we don change filter, aircond compressor sure will spoil easily... know u selling ur filters here. No hard feeling hah.. cheers.

Yes, aircon filter change regularly. Can it be the belt that is causing this hissing sound.

My car got hissing sound when cold start in the morning .The hissing sound goes away when the engine is hot.Went to TC TP
they just tighten the belt and the problem goes away.

My understanding is that a dirty or clogged air con filter will make the air con compressor work harder, which will shorten its lifespan in the long run.   :smile:

Hi All,

Tink all of u shd just let TC check and rectify the problem, on watever noises u can hear fr the engine /aircond compartment, jus complain on ur next servicing, cos this is our RIGHT..  :smile:

unless urs is over the warranty period of 3 yrs or 100K, and u don wan to spend more $$ at TC, then look for outside workshop..
