Body Value of Latio

I was wondering what is the body value of our latio now. The current COE at around $6000 - $8000 now is very tempting for us to change our car. Comparing with couple of years back when COE is at least more that $12000.

If we can sell to a car exporter, how much body value can we get for a 2 year old car ? Then with the low interest rate, can probably get a new car at a lower monthly instalment.

I was only quoted 32k (from Subaru) for my latio which is 1.5 yrs old. Bought it for 58k where coe is 17K.. 1.5yrs loose 26k.. Scary

I was quoted very low when i check with the dealers for my latio sport (May 06)... :crycry:

I was told that the price of latio is very low... dont understand why...??? :confused1:

The age of Latios, being introduced only in 2005, are still relatively new in the market.

Anyone thinking of selling their Latios should expect an annual depreciation of AT LEAST S$12,000 a year.

I bought mine in June 2008 for $53K. I am already seeing dealers advertising a 12 month Latio for only S$40,000. Imagine how much lower is the trade-in value as dealers need to make a profit too.

Anyone who took a loan and wants to sell their Latio now will have to top up money to pay the bank.

What is the point of being forever in debt an dpaying sky high interest rates? Might as well faster finish paying the loan and get to drive your Latio without any outstanding loan for its last few years at least.

Low interest rate = low monthly instalment is only on the surface. You lose a lot when you sell your current ride. Changing to another one you have to take up a new loan again.  :scared:

Just about a month ago i called an exporter, he told be to export the car, the car must at least 3 years old. Dunno how true.
He quoted me about $7000 for the body value of a 3 years old latio.
