hi all,

personally my mandarin is not that goood, and i believe there are also other lations here who may not recognise mandarin characters. So i think its politically better to keep our threads in English.

Fair for all.

Thx

Hi gui ge

I disagree.
Is no choice lah, coz no time lah. U know, rush hour now lah.

Anyway, went to Htyre (Htyre.com.sg) at Bendemeer road during lunch time.
The screw spoil the tyre and cannot mend, bcoz it is kena at the 'side' of the tyre.
So, I have changed to GR80, all the 4 pcs at S$110 per piece. Total S$440 + 7% GST = S$470.80 :(

Huh :( Tyre = Tire man....

Think H-Tyre also out to make your money. Cos they did not get you to use spare tyre first. Anyway alrite la... at least you got yourself a safer set of tyres. since money spent le then dun look back liaoz.

if juz goin kl change tyre not really worth, the toll fees n petrol mayb more than $100+ and it quite dangerous as u driving wif a spare tyre and it will b a long way there and u cant drive at high speed.

Hi iwilly & all,

I don't think i am going to KL in short period of time, no time...

But, if i simply change to GR80 in any of msia workshop, shld be cheaper than SGD110 per piece?
S$110 x 4 = S$440 + 7% = 470.80

S$470.8 x RM2.40 = RM1130/=

= RM282 per tyre? :(

Kaulat...

But nvm, really short of time... :( Don't know how to think of this. I tot can mend it but who know cannot mend.... Then on the spot, i oni think of changing all the 4 pcs :(

Regards.

Hi Indignant

iagree with u.

well, actually, i dont want to bother abt all these thing, as long as can get it solve and have a peace of mind for the people sit inside my ride, i am contented already. aso, tyres, we wont chg very often. one set of tyres can last for at least 40000km, now my km already hit 30000km, i thk is enough for the stock TOYO tyres? what do u say/think?

But, i would like to appreciate the points/ideas contributed by u guys in this thread, it's very fruitful.

i am rushing back to Msia tonite, so, i thk that is part of the reason i want to get things done without much hassles.

BUT, if so soi hor, if drive through the same area near Lao Pa Sat / Cecil Street area, and kena another screw (TOUCH WOOD), then hor, i will be crying.... :( Then, I might use the spare tyres??? Haha, hopefully this won't happen hor :)

Hi all

Saw this forum.

Got 205 or 185? My stock rim is 185 tyres?

http://www.autoworld.com.my/forum/allposts.asp?summary=1&Forum=ap309675587&access=2&status=1&subject=Bridgestone+GR-80%3F%3F

Hi besview

any feedback on your GR80?
I was quoted 280.00/pc in klang, where did you fix yours anyway?
---------------

Hi besview,

could you do a favour for me? Please ask the cost for GR80 205-60-16,
previously been told at RM360. I think the quoted price for you is quite
cheap.
---------------
BSDriver

I got a quote of rm250 ea for GR80 size 205/60/15 and due to have them
fitted tomorrow. Can anyone advise as to whether this is a good price? On
the other hand,I might just fit Michelin XM1 which is abt rm 200 ea.

hi all

FYI.
chg 4 tyres.
they free nitrogen air? btr to control heat or sthing? is different from normal air pump at petrol stn?

aso, from one time Balancing & Tyres rotation, next 10,000km.

free unlimited checking of tyres if any issue with tyres.

free pumping in nitrogen air to the tyres (can chk the tyres every 2mths, if pass by can drive thru. they open until 8pm).

www.htyre.com

good?

regards.

Hi Carmodz,

What can i do leh?
If they charge me ex, do u thk we will go there next time? Or recommend friend to go there? No right?

The ex thing is the 7% GST , abt S$30+! :(

Ya, NSman told me can get Hankook V2. But HTyre guy said Hankook is "low profile"! What is low profile ah?

Since I heard abt GR80 for so long and LBoy shua ge aso mentioned it & strongly recommended to get GR80 long ago, so, i always think that shld give GR80 a try! So, today i get it done ! Hope no regret. If no kena screw/nail, I won't chg my Stock Tyre. Because, I am Mr Stock :)
