That means you probably bought it after the price increase of 1k.  No wonder you have been given added preference over the rest of us.  Is your COE rebate set at 4k?

Seems like coe will be rising for the next bidding, since i booked the car at ex-stock discounted price, will TCM ask me to top up after the 6th bidding exercise?

Eh i dont think so bahz... cause what i heard that they are been pressured by JAPAN HQ regards Singapore Sales, thus at this point of time they need to release as much vehicle as fast as they could.. I believe u will get your COE on the 17th Dec.

Those who did not get your COE this time, don't worry, you still have 5 more bids to go.

I don't see why you cannot secure your COE by end February 2009.

From my SE, only those booked at higher price; after price increase and have ex stock got their coe. Ppl like me booked at low dicounted price didnt get it. lol. Thats why they bid so early cos not going to revise as every revision will cost them a small minimal fee. :D :D

i believe securing the coe within 6 bids is not the problem but whether theres a need to top up, tats a bit matters.

haha...well u can rebook but u probably wun be able to get back the price that you are currently being offered...

anyway..come to think of it...if need top up..then wad's the point of getting a low price since eventually we will need to top up for COE due to dealer not having enuff margin cos of the low price?

Even if your COE is secured in the next bidding ending 17 Dec, you will still get your car before New Year, as Tan Chong will want to register as many cars as possible before year end to boost their numbers.
